Royal Opera House chief executive to become Channel 4 deputy chairman

23 12 2011

Ofcom has announced a number of changes to Channel 4's executive board, with Royal Opera House boss Tony Hall, already a non-executive director, replacing Lord Puttnam as deputy chairman at the broadcaster.

The shake-up also sees Lastminute.com founder Martha Lane-Fox leaving the board at the end of January, and Lord Burns, Channel 4's chairman, extending his role until January 2016.
